The Most Underrepresented Group in America

The STORY BEHIND our movement

"This world demands the qualities of youth: not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of the will, a quality of imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease."

These wise words were once spoken by the estimable politician and social contributor, Robert Kennedy. Indeed, his words mark the present day scenario, where the world is in dire need of a youthful perspective in matters related to collaborative leadership. It is an objective truth that the future of the American society is to be the most impactful upon the youth in the country, as they develop into the next generation of leaders. Therefore, it is integral to have their representation in positions where they can be heard, where their perspectives on global matters can be taken into account.

The startling statistics of the present day owe to us the responsibility to look upon our actionability and see whether the youth is truly represented in the leadership that they are impacted by. A mere six percent of present day congressional members are under the age of thirty-five, and even amongst these, the youngest is of twenty-five years.

The youth are asking for the ability to represent themselves at White House congressional meetings. Among our numerous merited representatives in congressional bodies, youth officials between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five should be incorporated, as well. This will create a beautiful balance of experience and innovation in our political center.
